Proudly Serving

This is a five-page site with nothing to fill in on it. There is no form, no login and no shop, so there is nothing you can hand over here by typing it. If you write to us, you do it from your own mail client and we hold that mail the way anyone holds their mail.

What we count

We use Google Analytics to see which pages get read, roughly where in the world our readers are, and which links brought them here. It tells us whether the writing is landing. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not use it to advertise to you or to build a profile of you.

Google Analytics does this with cookies — small entries it keeps in your browser so it can tell one visit from the next. That is why we ask before we switch it on, and why nothing is stored at all until you say yes. Decline and the tag still loads, but it is told to keep nothing, and it keeps nothing.

What it does collect is processed by Google, who hold it for the period set on the account and use it to provide the service. Their own account of what they do with it is on their site.

Changing your mind

Whatever you chose, you can change it here, now, and as often as you like. Saying no later works the same as saying no at the door.

Asking us about it

Write to hello@nowproudlyserving.com and ask. If you are in the UK or the EU you have the right to see what is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to complain to your data protection authority if you are not satisfied with how we answer.
